Entry Qualification
[ For Both Categories ]
Amateur/professional writers and artists in children's literature can all participate (Entrant who uses a pen name must identify his or her real name.)
Entries that fail to meet submission requirements in each category will be excluded (in terms of genre and length)
There may not be any winners should none of the entries meet the qualifications.
[ For Short Story ]
3~4 pages in A4 size, font 11 in Times New Roman; 1.5 line spacing
Margins: top 35 mm, bottom/left/right 30mm
[ For Illustrated Story Book ]
Two or more people may collaborate on a single piece
Enclose original drawings in a portfolio art bag (hand-drawn original + 1 dummy book). In case of a 3D artwork, submit slide photos and its negative film.
Original drawing size should be 265 x 340mm or 360 x 300mm and the book should be about 30 pages long.

Contest Winners Judge
Preliminary 1st & 2nd winners selected per country 2 local judges (per country)
Final 1st local winning pieces (from each country) translated into English and entered into the final round ; 1 winner selected per category Judges appointed by Daekyo Co. Ltd

Announcement: Nov.19. 2013 Winners will be contacted individually
Award Ceremony: Dec. 12. 2013 (Exact date and time TBD. Venue will be notified to the winners individually)
[ Remarks ]
Plagiarism will not be tolerated. Entries must be original, unpublished and unproduced, not accepted by any other publisher or competition.
Participating countries' residents of 18 years and older may apply (residents with a different citizenship should apply to the residing country)
There may not be any winners depending on the quantity /quality of the submitted entries
Local awards will be provided at the participating county.
Submitted pieces are not to be returned in principle; however, non-winning illustrated story book(s) may be returned upon request. Daekyo will keep the copyright of all winning pieces for at least 5 years.
Entries that do not match the application information or any of the conditions above will be disqualified. If the disqualification occurs after the presentation of awards, the awards shall be returned.
